Wellness Wednesday: Black Americans disproportionately suffer from health ailments

The death rate for Black Americans of all genders is generally higher than whites for heart diseases, stroke, cancer, diabetes and more.

A five-part series titled “From Birth to Death” by the Associated Press explains how Black Americans disproportionately suffer from things like asthma, high-blood pressure and Alzheimer’s through every stage of life.

It’s been over 25 years since Red Bull, the energy drink whose tagline claims it will “give you wings” came on the market.

Since then, there’s been a surge in energy drinks crowding the beverage aisle at supermarkets and convenience stores. As they grow in popularity, so has the caffeine content, consumption by younger drinkers and health concerns.

When was the last time you experienced genuine awe? You know, that kind of wonder that makes you feel insignificant in the best way possible?
