Edgar Villanueva who founded the non-profit Decolonizing Wealth Project, spoke with ESSENCE about a month after the “Alight, Align, Arise” reparations conference and reflected on encouraging updates in the aftermath of the Atlanta gathering, which was hosted by his organization.
