New task force launched to study reparations for Black Philadelphians

City Councilmember Jamie Gauthier announced Tuesday at City Hall the launch of the Philadelphia Reparations Task Force.

The group will be charged with analyzing and reporting on how reparations can atone for the legacy of slavery, Jim Crow and institutional racism in America for Black Philadelphians.
