MSU Fine & Performing Arts | Black Artists of D.C. exhibition; Upcoming plays will address Black mental health disparities

During this I Love Baltimore Thursday, Gabe takes a look at what’s new and exciting in Morgan State University’s Department of Fine and Performing Arts.

Gabe’s first guest is Dr. Schroeder Cherry, Museum Curator at Morgan State’s James E Lewis Museum of Art (JELMA). Dr. Cherry talks about the significance of the art gallery and shares information on current cultural exhibitions, including Black Artists of D.C.

Gabe’s next two guests, Dwight Cook, Production Manager, Murphy Fine Arts Center; and Tylar Hinton, Costume Designer and Theatre Educator join the show to discuss two upcoming plays focused on mental health and the Black community.
