IT’S VERY IMPORTANT THAT WE CONTINUE TO HIGHLIGHT, UPLIFT AND PROVIDE A SPACE FOR BLACK OWNED BUSINESSES TO NETWORK, TO GROW TOGETHER, TO ENGAGE WITH ONE ANOTHER. Milwaukee pop-up market supports Black-owned businesses
‘Black is Beautiful’ event at North Avenue Market part of Black Business Month
In celebration of Black Business Month, North Avenue Market on Sunday held a “Black is Beautiful” pop-up market. The event highlighted a wide range of vendors selling art, candles, clothes and health products. “It is very important that we continue to highlight, uplift, and provide a space for Black businesses to network, to grow together, to engage with one another, and again, bringing brand awareness to their businesses,” said Kayla Green with North Avenue Market.The event ran from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. North Avenue Market has a different theme every month and plans to have the Black business market again next August.
