NWSL Commissioner Jessica Berman will make a special presentation following the match

Washington, D.C. (09/10/2024) – This Sunday, Audi Field will turn into sea of black as the Washington Spirit faces the Houston Dash on CVS Health Day. Fans should wear black and root for the Spirit, who is looking for a win to clinch an NWSL Playoff berth. The Spirit is currently dominating as the District’s hottest team – the Spirit has lost only one of its last 11 regular season matches, led by star Trinity Rodman, who has seven goals and five assists this season, and Leicy Santos, who has three goal contributions in her first three matches with the team.

As always, fans can be assured that Spirit games will bring the energy before gates open all the way until the final whistle. Starting at 11:30 a.m., Sandlot Bar will be open just outside Gate A accompanied by beats from DJ Ted King.

CVS Health, which many may recognize as the Spirit’s front of kit partner, will activate throughout the East Concourse. They will also provide co-branded CVS Health and Washington Spirit blackout rally towels on seats throughout the venue. CVS Health’s features include a heart entrance into Spiritville, a women’s health tabling section featuring co-branded tote bags, multivitamins and other giveaways, a spin-to-win station, and a selfie station. Additionally, in efforts to support the Spirit’s empowerment and support of women’s health, CVS will offer numerous giveaway items including “My First Period Boxes” and CVS Health pads for teens.

At Spirit Stage just inside of Gate A, DJ Kidd Fresh will accompany Regina Smith-Floyd who will deliver multiple Zumba classes for fans throughout pre-game. The performance will bring a liveliness that fans won’t want to miss.

Other concourse items include Batalá Washington, an Afro-Brazilian all female percussion band, who will perform throughout the concourse. They will also be the halftime entertainment act. Returning to the concourse is ESPN Radio 630 with its exclusive giveaway, as well as Spiritville, which includes a soft play area for children, EA FC stations, a PK meet-and-greet, face painters, caricature artists, and more.
