Shreveport-Bossier Black Restaurant Week is back

SHREVEPORT, La. – It’s time to indulge in a culinary celebration at the 3rd Annual Shreveport-Bossier Black Restaurant Week. It’s organized by the Shreveport-Bossier African American Chamber of Commerce and runs through Saturday, Oct. 21.

The week will highlight chefs, food truck events, festivals, caterers, and libations. Some of the community’s new and emerging chefs and long-established restaurateurs will get to showcase their culinary skills.

The goal is to stimulate economic impact in the local restaurant industry for Black-owned businesses and raise awareness of these businesses in Shreveport-Bossier. Supporting Black-owned restaurants plays a crucial role in achieving socio-economic upliftment, and the sustainable implementation of these benefits will strengthen the entire community and open opportunities for future generations.

Participating restaurants will offer $10 lunch specials and $20 dinner specials.

Share your dining experience by using hashtag #EatBlack318.
