EL PASO, Texas (KFOX) — A school employee is accused of messaging a minor to have sexual contact with their daughter.
Ana Guadalupe De La Cruz, who works for Socorro Independent School District in El Paso, Texas, was arrested and charged with solicitation of a minor.
According to the arrest report, De La Cruz tried to convince a 14-year-old to have sexual contact with her daughter.
De La Cruz asked the teen by text message to meet with her daughter.
The incident happened in February 2022.
Officials with Socorro ISD confirmed De La Cruz was an employee of the district.
She was placed on unpaid leave on Nov. 17.
De La Cruz has worked for SISD since September 2019.
