Philly shoppers set to converge at Black-owned Grocery Outlet in Sharswood

In an effort to support Black-owned businesses, a crowd of grocery shoppers are expected to converge on the Grocery Outlet store at 2077 Ridge Ave. in Sharswood Saturday.

The store is owned by Donta Rose, who opened the store in 2022, in an area of North Philadelphia that was viewed as a food desert.
