It’s officially Minority Mental Health Month!
Conversations around mental health within the Black community have increased and so has the desire to learn more about how it affects us.
The month of July is all about minority mental health. This time is set aside to recognize the unique challenges faced by racial and ethnic minorities when it comes to mental illness. It is also a period intended to dispel stigmas around mental illness while also increasing public awareness among affected minority groups.
aspireTV is helping to raise awareness this Minority Mental Health Month with various organizations committed to helping underserved communities gain access to the resources needed to not only survive, but thrive.
