BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) – Krohn Clinic and Black River Memorial Hospital are announcing they have officially joined and created Black River Health, effective Dec. 30, 2024.
“Black River Health promises to continue delivering exceptional, patient-centered care as we work together to meet the evolving healthcare needs of our community,” Dr. Michelle Clark-Forsting, Chief Physician Executive of Black River Health, said. “This partnership represents our shared vision for a healthier future.”
According to a joint press release, the decision to combine comes in response to growing health challenges with Jackson County faring worse than the average county in Wisconsin for health outcomes.
The press release says both organizations will retain their names and identity but will operate under the Black River Health umbrella.
