Epic Fit Fest Is Taking Black Health & Wellness To The Next Level

The inaugural Epic Fit Fest is arriving Sunday, September 22 at the Grand Lawn at Epic Central in Grand Prairie, Texas. The event was created by Dr. Kristi Andrews, former pharmacist and owner of Manna Juice Bar and disc jockey and reality TV star DJ Duffey. The pair hoped to create a space that “redefines fitness as a space of inclusion, positivity, and cultural celebration.” According to their website, Epic Fit Fest will proudly feature Black-owned vendors, black owned food trucks,  and black fitness instructors to foster a supportive community where every participant feels valued. In time for political season, the festival will also have voter registration by the National Pan Hellenic Council of Dallas.

Guests that upgrade to VIP, will enjoy complimentary B12 and Skinny Shots, with access to IVs and other med spa services, juice from Manna Juice Bar gifts bags from Urban Skin Rx and Black Girl Vitamins, Uncle Nearest Whiskey, and natural hair demos on how to maintain your tresses during a workout by Flourish Curls Salon!
