Diverse business showcase to be held at Salem State

SALEM — A free resource showcase for minority-owned and diverse businesses will be held at Salem State University next week.

During the June 25 event, the North Shore Alliance will host business resource organizations and government agencies from 3-6 p.m. at Salem State’s Enterprise Center.

These organizations will provide diverse business owners with resources and information to support their businesses, according to a statement from the Alliance.

Attendees must have at least 51% of their business’s ownership team be a part of at least one of these groups: LGBTQIA, Black/African American, Hispanic or Latino (Central/South American or Caribbean), American Indian/Alaskan Native, Asian, Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander, Portuguese, Disability-Owned, Service-Disabled Veteran, Veteran, and/or Woman/Women.

The event aims to expand the work of the Alliance’s online Small Business Diversity Directory.

Agencies and organizations in attendance will include Amplify Latinx, Mass Development, Mass Growth Capital, Massachusetts Small Business Development Center, Massachusetts LGBT Chamber of Commerce, Mills Cities Community Investments, Northeast Legal Aid, North Shore CDC, North Shore Latino Business Association, SBA, SCORE, Supplier Diversity Office and the U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce Inc.
