BENTON HARBOR, Mich.- Corewell Health invites the community to a presentation on Black maternal and infant health at Lake Michigan College on August 24.
Dr. Sekeita Lewis-Johnson, will join as the keynote speaker to share her expertise on inequities and to discuss preventable and unjust processes and experiences.
She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, international board-certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) and doula.
Following the keynote address, there will be a panel discussion discussing local strategies to address Black maternal infant health, including breastfeeding support in the Black community.
Audience members will have the opportunity to ask the speaker and panelists questions.
