Community Health Center of the Black Hills now Complete Health

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Community Health Center in Rapid City is changing its name again as more services are offered. Established in 1992 as the Rapid City Community Health Center the name was changed in 2008 to Community Health Center of the Black Hills. Now another re-branding, to Complete Health. It’s hoped the new name reflects the wide array of services offered under one roof. From its humble beginnings of one doctor 30 years ago Complete Health now has some 25 health care providers offering dental and mental health services and a pharmacy.

In 2020 they added an IRIS Clinic at the Pine Street location. CEO of Complete Health Tim Trithart says, “It’s really just a clinic that we run for our LGBTQ youth within the community. We opened that up because we saw that there was a lot of LGBTQ youth out there who wanted the safe space that they go through.”

Besides its main clinic on Pine Street Complete Health also has clinics at General Beadle Elementary and the One Heart campus.
