COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The City of Columbia will be holding its first “Mom’s Market”: Health Fair for Moms, Families and Babies as part of Black Maternal Health Week.
The event will be held to bring awareness to the burden of maternal mortality among Black woman in South Carolina.
There will be vendors providing information and resources that support moms, families and babies through prenatal planning, pregnancy and postpartum periods.
On Saturday, April 6, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Drew R. Wellness Center on Walker Solomon Way, moms can learn from nutrition specialists and more.
