Church of England to raise $1 billion+ for slavery reparations

A Church of England advisory panel suggests creating a fund to address Anglicanism’s historic links to slavery. Church Commissioners, the church’s financial arm, said it accepted the panel’s recommendations, including a target of 1 billion pounds “and above” for a pool of money known as the Fund for Healing, Repair, and Justice.
