WFMY News 2 honors the words and contributions of people from the African American community.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — As WFMY News 2 celebrates Black History Month this year, we wanted to share positive words from various prominent African Americans. As we highlighted words of the past that still ring true today, we recorded the promos in different Greensboro black-owned businesses thriving in today’s landscape.

We hope these words ring true and make a positive impact on your life today, and every day.
