Rolling Out Magazine President Dr. Rashad Richey said, ″There are massive disparities already existing in our arena of healthcare, and when it comes to healthcare access, information becomes the difference between life and death.”
Black Health Matters offered screenings like breast exams, blood testing and thyroid checks. Normally these would cost someone about $750, but it was all free at the event.
