Just in time for Halloween, Anchuca Historic Mansion and Inn is partnering with the Duff Green Mansion and the Mississippi Paranormal Society to provide Ghost Tours on Sunday, October 29th and Monday, 30th, from 6:30pm-9pm.

This is just one of the new programs we can expect from Anna Kate and Sam Andrews who became the owners of Anchuca Historic Mansion and Inn just over a year ago.

“We wanted to find a way to work with similar businesses in our neighborhood while giving an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look into these massive, and sometimes terrifying, historic mansions,” Andrews said.

The evening of behind-the-scenes investigative sessions begins at Anchuca where participants will take a deeper dive into Vicksburg’s dark, antebellum past with the Mississippi Paranormal Society’s investigative team while enjoying appetizers and a cash bar.

“Participants will walk by candlelight to Vicksburg’s infamous Civil War hospital, The Duff Green Mansion,” explained Andrews, “Here you’ll step inside the rooms where the unthinkable occurred and see for yourself why visitors insist that so many of this home’s inhabitants never left. The Mississippi Paranormal Society will then lead intimate mini investigations throughout the house with state-of-the-art monitoring equipment in the areas where guests continually report strange occurrences.”

Each night has a limited number of spaces available for participants. Tickets for the ghost tour can be purchased through this link.
