The skies are midnight blue before dinner time, the sidewalks are filled with fallen, crushed earth-toned leaves and Mariah Carey’s seasonal anthem is serenading us all at every turn. It’s happening folks: The holiday season is here.
While this time of year creates an opportunity for many to reset, enjoy family gatherings and take long-awaited vacations to favorite destinations, it’s also a big time for shopping—for everything. Whether it’s food, apparel, gifts or gadgets, Walmart has that and, frankly, everything you need to make sure your home and events are festive. Even more, Walmart is committed to partnering with Black women who are entrepreneurs to ensure their brands can benefit from the megastore’s reach across the nation.
SheEO Business Disruptors program, a collaboration between EBONY and Walmart, highlights six Black women-owned businesses with retail products. The six-part multimedia series, hosted by actress and entrepreneur Marsai Martin, dives deep into the stories of these amazing women, who trusted their gut instinct, defied odds, took leaps of faith and followed their purposes—even when the path to success wasn’t clear.
Watch the series to learn more about each of the dynamic women featured in SheEO Business Disruptors program. Learn how Walmart is supporting Black women owned businesses and, most importantly, how to support their brands here.
