The Washington African American Chamber of Commerce is back in Kennewick in October for its third Business Forum, Expo and Brunch.

The growth-focused gathering will emphasize financial services, with panel discussions providing insights on helping minority businesses access startup capital and business loans.

The event is held annually at the Three-Rivers Convention Center, 7016 Grandridge Blvd. The 2024 gathering will be from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 19.

In addition to a business exhibition and brunch, the statewide chamber will present small business awards.

You do not need to be a member to attend. Tickets are $25 or $200 for a table of eight. Go to waacoc24.eventbrite.com or waacoc.com.

Washington State Treasurer Mike Pellicciotti will give the keynote address. Pellicciotti, a Democrat, is running for a new four-year term against Sharon Hanek, a Republican, in the Nov. 5 general election.
