LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Blak Koffee will open its second location this week in Louisville.
The local coffee shop first opened in the Russell neighborhood at 1219 West Jefferson Street. The business, owned by Ronyale Smith and her husband, Kevin, has quickly become a destination for the city’s business professionals.
“Black Koffee is definitely a labor of love and it is a gift to the Russell community,” Ronyale previously told WDRB News. “We wanted to have a coffee shop west of Ninth Street, somewhere where the community could come in and just meet, and capacity build and community build and do all of the things it takes to have a community.”
Blak Koffee will open a new location at the Goodwill Opportunity Campus at 2820 West Broadway.
A grand opening will be held at noon on Friday. The event will feature special promotions, music and the chance to meet the team behind the coffee shop.
