MIDLAND COUNTY, Mich. (WJRT) – A man has been charged in a shooting last week in Midland County that left a woman hospitalized.
Authorities say 57-year-old William Callaway faces several charges, including discharging at a building causing injury, and other firearms offenses.
Michigan State Police say a woman came to a West Michigan hospital with a gunshot wound Thursday night. Investigators believe the shooting incident happened in the Sanford area at a home near Olson and 11 Mile roads in Lee Township.
Police arrested Callaway was on Saturday and he appeared in court for arraignment this week. He remained in the Midland County Jail on $600,000 bond.
