Black Men’s Wellness Day in Toledo offers 5K, health screenings

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Toledo is hosting the first Black Men’s Wellness Day at Jesup W. Scott high school on August 17 at 7 a.m.

The event is inspired to save black men’s lives by hosting a 5K walk and run, as well as health screenings and community resources for those who attend.

The Wellness Initiative has provided Black men free health screenings across the country.
