Experience power of art, conversation at ‘Busking for Reparations’

WALDOBORO — Enjoy an unforgettable evening of music, poetry and dialogue at the “Busking for Reparations” session on Wednesday, Aug. 14, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s Union Chapel, 1065 Dutch Neck Road.

“Busking for Reparations” is a performative framework designed to empower performing artists to engage audiences in a dialogue about reparations as direct payments for American Descendants of Slavery (ADOS) as it resides in a larger container of repair. Through the unique platform of busking, artists create intimate and open spaces where diverse perspectives on reparations and repair can be shared and explored.
