Peterson Benjamin Noël, the former Haitian ambassador to the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), provided new details about Haiti’s involvement with the Reparations Commission announced by Minister Dominique Dupuy. What was initially presented as new information turns out not to be entirely so. Speaking on Radio Magik 9 on Thursday, August 1, Mr. Noël elaborated on the origins of the commission and Haiti’s involvement from its inception.
