Local woman facing felony charge after allegedly punching officer

A Frankfort woman who reportedly punched a police officer late Saturday night is facing a felony charge.

At 11:46 p.m., officers were called to Elkhorn Court for an assault in progress and made contact with 26-year-old Katlyn Cook, who was in the driver’s seat of a vehicle.
