Black Family Wellness Expo to share health resources

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – An upcoming wellness event hopes to connect Black families with important resources in the Roanoke Valley.

The Roanoke Chapter of The Links, Incorporated organized the event as a way to make it easier for families to get access to health screenings, and educational materials.

Kianna Price Marshall and Dr. Carolyn Clark are both members of The Links, Incorporated. Together they joined Here @ Home to encourage families to join them Saturday, March 16 for the event.

The event is free and is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Family Life Center at Pilgrim Baptist Church at 1415 8th Street NW, Roanoke.
