Portland’s largest gathering of Black businesses celebrates 5th anniversary

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — This weekend the largest gathering of black businesses in Portland will celebrate its 5th anniversary.

“Junction Avenue” presented by Self Enhancement Incorporated is a pop-up marketplace focused on African American-owned businesses and best of all: it’s free and open to the community.

Cherie Davis, director of Self Enhancement Incorporated’s African American Cultural Center, joined AM Extra to talk more about the event.
