CUPHD hosting panel on Black health, wealth and wellness in Champaign

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — As Black History Month continues, the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District is inviting the community to a Black Health, Wealth, and Wellness panel discussion.

The panel will take place on Feb. 22 and will be presented by CUPHD’s Justice Coalition. Officials said it will offer an opportunity to engage in the advancement of Black wellness in the Champaign-Urbana community. The discussion aims to provide a space for people to share information and relate to one another.

The hour-and-a-half event will start at 6 p.m., with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. for light refreshments. It will take place at the CUPHD’s address at 201 West Kenyon Road in Champaign. Officials requested that attendees park in the north entrance lot and enter through the main conference room door — not the main entrance.
