Four Black employees filed a claim under Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act alleging racial discrimination in the promotion process at the Federal Air Marshals Service.
The plaintiffs, who are Transportation Security Administration employees—part of FAMS—allege that they’ve been the “victims of an ongoing pattern, practice, and culture of race discrimination in denying qualified African American air marshals promotional opportunities, particularly with respect to upper management positions.”
