MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Republican Party proudly welcomes Erik Ngutse as its new Director of Community Engagement. Ngutse’s unwavering commitment to championing conservative values and his experience in supporting GOP candidates at every level make him a valuable addition to the team.
In his role as Director of Community Engagement, based in Milwaukee, Ngutse will spearhead efforts to connect with and mobilize communities taken for granted by the Democratic Party.
His story is a testament to the promise of America. Born and raised in the small African nation of Rwanda, Erik and the Ngutse family survived the Rwandan Genocide by finding refuge in the United States under the Bush Administration. He has always remembered the opportunity and the warm welcome extended by the greatest country in the world.
Erik’s commitment to service began with the U.S. military as an infantryman. He later worked in the field for the 2020 Trump campaign, before running a very competitive race for the State Assembly in 2022. Now, he believes the American people are ready for a change.
“Look around Wisconsin and you’ll see working families suffering with failing schools, high taxes, and rising crime,” said Ngutse. “Marginalized communities deserve better and I am ready to grow the conservative movement and deliver results.”
The Wisconsin Republican Party looks forward to Erik Ngutse’s leadership in advancing our conservative values and continuing to expand the reach of the Party.
