A total of 33 companies from Louisiana have earned their spots on the coveted annual Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing businesses.
According to The Advocate, several of these amazing businesses hail from right here in the Lafayette area, showcasing the region’s dynamic entrepreneurial spirit and its role as a rising hub of business innovation.
Making a notable debut on the list, Broussard’s Cajun Broadband secured the 603rd spot after experiencing an impressive 974% growth over the past three years. This telecommunications company has rapidly expanded its footprint, providing high-speed internet services to rural and underserved communities across the state.
Another telecommunications firm, Albatross Site Construction of Lafayette, clinched the 932nd rank. Established in 2019, this cellular construction service provider saw a significant 630% surge in its revenue.
Further cementing Lafayette’s representation on the list:
• Tides Medical – Specializing in biotechnology, they secured the 2,339th rank.
• Brothers Services in Youngsville, renowned for commercial lawn care, grabbed the 2,729th position.
• Laborde Earles, personal injury attorneys based in Lafayette, stood at 4,467.
• LogoJET, a leader in industrial printing equipment, rounded up Lafayette’s representation at the 4,804th spot.
To earn a place on the Inc. 5000 list, companies are required to submit specific data. Businesses must have been founded and started generating revenue by March 31, 2019. Additionally, only U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent entities are eligible. They should not be subsidiaries or divisions of other firms as of Dec. 31, 2022.
