Clarence Edmond Shackelford (AKA) “M1Y” – The Artist, a publicist, the founder of Tour Tyler Texas and also the founder of Texas African American Museum both programs are under the auspices of the Empowerment Community Development Corporation, which is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit.
Established in 2009, Atomy is a global network marketing company with direct selling operations in 27 regions worldwide as of December 2022, including Korea.
On Monday July 24, 2023, both Bo Lee and Kenneth Butler and the Tyler Texas Atomy Dream Team, was able to cut the ribbon christening ceremonially the success of the business. Stanley Cofer gave the group an official membership certificate to join the Empowerment Community Development Corporation – Small and Minority Owned Business.
Since it was established, Atomy has grown rapidly through consumer-centered network marketing that strictly upholds CEO Park Han-gill’s principle of “Absolute Quality, Absolute Price.” The company has worked tirelessly to create a foundation for sustainable growth based on innovative thinking that sets customer success as its key objective and a corporate culture centered on principles, inclusive growth, and sharing. In 2022, Atomy sales reached (approx. USD 1.84 billion), and as of December 2022, it had 15 million registered members.
Atomy uses a consumer-oriented network marketing strategy. We select favorable products that are higher in quality at more reasonable prices and sell them through distribution channels that can compete with department stores, discount stores, home shopping networks, and online shopping. In other words, we find products that are more competitive in quality and price than similar products distributed through other channels for our customers’ benefits. Through this strategy, we promise to achieve our ultimate goal of “Surpassing Customer Satisfaction to Customer Success.”
In 2022 Kenneth Butler attended the Gospel Music Workshop of America, Inc., in Atlanta, Georgia and met member Bo Lee and Lisa Lee who is with Atomy. At the time Kenneth was working at KGLD 104.5 Radio in Tyler, Texas. Upon Kenneth’s return back to Tyler, his boss Darrell Martin, Sr., shared the Atomy products, with him and the rest is HIS-Story, with over 100 business partners and distributors.
Stanley Cofer was able to see the advantage of Atomy, which had good and affordable products – with no entry fee and membership fee.
I was able to foster a sense of gratitude in Atomy. I am very thankful for the good and affordable products in Atomy, the commission ceiling, and the fact that there are no entry fee and membership fee. – Clarence Shackelford
