Students are invited to a free session that focuses on Black entrepreneurship and leadership on Feb. 19 at the UWM School of Continuing Education’s downtown conference center.
“Black Businesses Through the Years: A Roadmap for Success” offers students, faculty, staff and community members a chance to connect with business leaders and gain insights into Milwaukee’s Black entrepreneurs and how they built a thriving business. Attendees will leave with new ideas and a free business growth toolkit.
The session is Wednesday, Feb. 19, from 4-6 p.m., at the School of Continuing Education Conference Center, 161 W. Wisconsin Ave. The event also offers a virtual option.
