60-year-old shot inside residence on Flint’s north side

FLINT, Mich. (WJRT) – A 60-year-old man was badly injured when bullets fired from outside his residence on Flint’s north side hit him overnight.

The Flint Police Department says someone outside the man’s residence fired gunshots into the house in the 700 block of Lomita Avenue and hit the victim, who was listed in critical condition at an area hospital Thursday morning.

Investigators did not release any information about a suspect or possible motive for the shooting. Authorities did not name the victim while they continue investigating the incident.
