Two more fugitives on the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office’s ” target=”_blank”>”10 Most Wanted” list are now behind bars.
According to a booking sheet, 50-year-old Cheyenne transient Carl Jonathan Coons was arrested at 10 a.m. yesterday, Aug. 20, after deputies, who had information Coons was living in a camper near East 7th Street and Russel Avenue, located the camper at the corner of East 9th Street and Pebrican Avenue and Coons came out of the camper.
Coons was being sought on a felony warrant for strangulation of a household member – minor injury.
The warrant was signed by Laramie County Circuit Court Judge Antoinette Williams on July 25, 2023.
Coons’ hearing on the warrant is scheduled for tomorrow at 9:45 a.m.
The LCSO says Laura Springer, who was being sought on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of felony theft, did “the right thing” and turned herself in.
Her next court hearing has yet to be scheduled.
Meanwhile, deputies continue to look for Bryon Edwards, who’s been on the “10 Most Wanted” list since it was first published on Facebook on June 14, and Abby Delf, who was added to the list on Aug. 1.
Edwards is wanted for violating his probation on an original charge of strangulation of a household member.
And Delf is wanted for failing to appear on an original charge of taking a controlled substance into a penal institution.
“We are pretty sure they left Wyoming,” the LCSO said in a Facebook post on Monday afternoon. “We will update the list soon; unfortunately, we have an endless supply.”
